Effective Date: [Insert Date]

The following policies establish the payment and cancellation requirements applicable to wedding and event bookings with JKA Weddings.

  1. Required Booking Deposit

All JKA Weddings packages require a $500 deposit to secure the Client’s selected event date.

  1. Non-Refundable Deposit

The $500 booking deposit is strictly non-refundable. Once paid, the deposit shall not be returned, credited, or transferred except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to by JKA Weddings in writing.

  1. Purpose of Deposit

The deposit is collected to secure the requested event date and reserve JKA Weddings’ availability for the Client.

  1. Date Reservation

Payment of the required $500 deposit confirms the Client’s intention to reserve the selected event date, subject to acceptance and confirmation by JKA Weddings.

  1. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance for the Client’s selected package shall be due **immediately upon completion of the event**.

  1. Payment Obligation

The Client remains responsible for payment of the remaining balance in accordance with the agreed package price and these policies.

  1. Cancellation Within 60 Days

If the Client cancels the wedding or event **within sixty (60) days of the intended event date**, the Client shall owe JKA Weddings an amount equal to **twenty-five percent (25%) of the remaining balance**.

 8. Calculation of Cancellation Amount

For purposes of this policy, the “remaining balance” means the total agreed package price less than the $500 non-refundable deposit.

The applicable 25% cancellation amount shall be calculated using that remaining balance.

  1. Deposit and Cancellation Amount

The $500 non-refundable deposit and the 25% cancellation amount described above are separate obligations.

Where a cancellation occurs within the 60-day period, the applicable cancellation amount shall be due in addition to the non-refundable $500 deposit.

10. Cancellation Notice

The Client should provide cancellation notice to JKA Weddings as soon as reasonably possible.

For purposes of determining whether the 60-day cancellation provision applies, the relevant date shall be the date on which JKA Weddings receives notice of cancellation, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Written Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing so that both parties have a clear record of the cancellation and the date on which it was received.

12. No Other Stated Cancellation Fees

Except for the $500 non-refundable deposit and the 25% cancellation amount applicable when a wedding is canceled within 60 days of the intended event date, JKA Weddings does not impose additional cancellation charges under this published policy.

13. Client Acknowledgment

By paying the booking deposit or otherwise confirming services with JKA Weddings, the Client acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted these payment and cancellation policies.

14. Policy Modification

JKA Weddings reserves the right to modify its published policies for future bookings. Any modification shall not alter the terms previously agreed upon for an existing booking unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

15. Conflict With Applicable Law

Nothing contained in these policies is intended to waive, limit, or exclude any right or protection that cannot legally be waived or excluded under applicable law.
