These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of wedding and event-related services by JKA Weddings (“JKA Weddings,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the individual(s) purchasing or engaging our services (“Client,” “Couple,” “you,” or “your”).
By making a booking, submitting a deposit, entering into an agreement with JKA Weddings, or otherwise engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.
Agreement to Terms
Your booking with JKA Weddings constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, together with any applicable booking confirmation, service agreement, proposal, or package description provided to you.
These Terms shall remain applicable throughout the provision of the contracted services.
Services Provided
JKA Weddings may provide wedding and event-related services including, but not limited to, DJ entertainment, emcee services, wedding coordination, officiant services, ceremony audio, lighting, and other services specifically identified in the Client’s selected package or written agreement.
Only services expressly included in the Client’s package or written agreement shall be considered part of the contracted services.
Reservation of Event Date
An event date shall not be considered fully reserved until JKA Weddings has received the required deposit and the booking has been accepted by the Company.
The Company may decline to reserve a date until the applicable booking requirements have been satisfied.
Client Information
The Client is responsible for providing JKA Weddings with accurate and complete information reasonably necessary to perform the contracted services, including the event date, venue, event schedule, location, contact information, and other relevant event details.
The Client shall promptly notify JKA Weddings of any material changes affecting the event.
Event Details and Coordination
The Client acknowledges that successful performance of wedding and event services may require timely communication and cooperation.
The Client agrees to provide requested event information, schedules, timelines, venue details, and other relevant information within a reasonable period before the event.
Package and Service Limitations
JKA Weddings shall be responsible for providing the services expressly included in the Client’s selected package or written agreement.
Services, equipment, personnel, travel, extensions, upgrades, or additional arrangements not expressly included in the selected package may be subject to separate written agreement and applicable charges where agreed upon by the parties.
Event Schedule
The Client understands that the Company’s performance is based upon the event schedule and information provided by the Client and/or venue.
Any material changes to the event schedule should be communicated to JKA Weddings as soon as reasonably practicable so that the Company may determine whether the requested changes can be accommodated.
Venue Requirements
The Client is responsible for communicating applicable venue rules, restrictions, access requirements, setup requirements, noise restrictions, parking requirements, and other venue-specific conditions to JKA Weddings when such information is known to the Client.
JKA Weddings will make reasonable efforts to operate in accordance with applicable venue requirements communicated in advance.
Client Representations
The Client represents that the information provided to JKA Weddings in connection with the booking is accurate and complete to the best of the Client’s knowledge.
The Client further represents that they have authority to enter into the agreement and authorize JKA Weddings to provide the contracted services.
10. Changes to Event Arrangements
Requests to change the date, venue, package, services, event schedule, or other material elements of the booking must be communicated to JKA Weddings and may require written confirmation from the Company.
A requested change shall not automatically be deemed accepted unless confirmed by JKA Weddings.
11. Performance of Services
JKA Weddings agrees to use reasonable professional efforts to provide the services identified in the Client’s agreement.
The Client acknowledges that certain elements of a wedding or event may be outside the Company’s reasonable control, including venue conditions, delays, guest conduct, weather, traffic, or changes made by third parties.
12. Third-Party Conditions
JKA Weddings is not responsible for delays, interruptions, restrictions, or failures caused by a venue, vendor, guest, contractor, governmental authority, or other third party beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as requiring JKA Weddings to assume responsibility for the independent acts or omissions of third parties.
13. Equipment and Property
Any equipment provided by JKA Weddings for the event shall remain the property of JKA Weddings unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
The Client shall not intentionally damage, alter, remove, relocate, or permit unauthorized persons to operate Company equipment.
14. Professional Conduct and Event Environment
The Client agrees to maintain a safe and reasonably orderly environment for the performance of JKA Weddings’ services.
JKA Weddings reserves the right to take reasonable measures necessary to protect its personnel, equipment, and ability to perform the contracted services where circumstances at the event materially interfere with performance.
15. Compliance With Applicable Laws
The parties agree to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and venue requirements applicable to the event and the services being provided.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JKA Weddings shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Force Majeure
JKA Weddings shall not be considered in breach of these Terms to the extent that performance is prevented, delayed, or materially affected by circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, governmental actions, emergencies, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable booking confirmation, proposal, package description, and any written agreement between the parties, constitute the entire agreement concerning the services being provided by JKA Weddings.
Any prior verbal or written representations concerning the subject matter of the agreement are superseded to the extent they conflict with the final written agreement.
19. Amendments
Any material amendment, modification, or addition to the agreement should be made in writing and acknowledged by the parties.
No verbal statement shall be interpreted as modifying these Terms unless otherwise required by applicable law.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Waiver
Failure by either party to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it at a later time.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **State of [State]**, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
23. Acknowledgment
